Mystery: Solved...possibly...maybe...well, I'm not really sure.

Hello my friends! It is so good to be back!

*gasp* What do you mean "was I gone?"

Why, of all the nerve! You didn't even miss me. *sniff sniff*

Well I'm sure most of you know blogger was down for a while. And I have big news regarding the humming for you -

I know most of you have leaned toward the cicadas, but I am telling you this was not a cicada sound. Promise. Not that it's not time for them, this just wasn't it.

So anyway, the day after the story aired, guess what?

Linemen show up!

Yep. They've been working on our lines (that's where else I was - no internet), and guess what else?

No more humming!

Mystery: solved.

Yes, we felt we could safely remove our hats. My super creative daughter turned her hat into an offering plate and we played church. I did give, but then later found out that my offering was going to the "decorate Abbie's room fund". So just know, Abbie, that about thirty seven cents of that decor came from me.

Nighty night. A good weekend to you all!

It started humming over here Thursday and then I saw a news article somewhere about the humming on the street your parents are on. It seems to have stopped now.

Abbie is fired up about redo-ing her closet. You know its not the room, right? Its her closet. After we cleaned it out she was amazed at how much room she has and she has decided to make it a special room for her and FavCousin. Never mind she has a whole ENTIRE room for this. She has posters and is begging for me to take her to the Dollar Tree for more decorations.

I'm glad the mystery is solved... and I loved the tin hats.

I was off the blog for awhile, too, so I didn't get to respond to your Comment.

I don't think I'll be going to the Civil War Reenactment, but I think two or three of the men in the family may be heading out there... with a camera!

Have a good day, and I'll talk to you soon.

If I hadn't been gadding about Boston yesterday, I would have missed you...

Wow, it WAS the power lines! There was a show a while back ...I've forgotten the name of the show, it was a show about people hiring attorneys for really weird situations, anyway, one of their shows was about people suing a power company because alot of people were getting cancers that lived near high energy powerlines...I wonder if it was based on a true story...yeah, like Ma said, hang on to your (tinfoil) hats!
:)
