Well tomorrow is it.
The Big T-Day.
A new chapter begins in Schyler's life.
Saying goodbye to the old her.
And hello to a new tonsil-free her.
She is preeeeetty stoked, I have to say. This is not her first surgery, so she doesn't have the "I don't know what it's going to be like" anxiety. She is so all about doting nurses. And slushies. More so, doting nurses with slushies.
To my shame I did no laundry today. Which means we had to dig for semi-clean, definitely mismatched jammies. Not good.
I mean not good when it's what you have to wear to get body parts removed. Any other day - deal with it.
So of course, rather than sleeping right now I am doing laundry so I can quickly slip clean, matching jammies on her before we go to the hospital. I know, judge all ya' want.
Well, I am going to go and start packing for tomorrow. Oh no, we're not spending the night. But there is a whole row of babies and stuffed animals that have to go. Schyler regularly "rescues" and "adopts" babies and animals from imminent sadness and danger and once you are their Mommy, you certainly can't leave one at home alone. Each one has to have a turn to do something, but sometimes it's something really special so everyone has to come because it just wouldn't be right. I honestly can't say anything. I was the exact same way.
I know. You could tell how soft hearted I am couldn't you?
Don't laugh. Stop laughing.

We prayed for FavCousin last night. I'll call later and check on her.
Good luck to FavCousin!
