I heart books.

Woo! Best day ever! Now Schyler would tell you it was the best day because her favorite person, Abbie, got to spend the night. And while I agree that was pretty wonderful, the best for me was that I went to the mail box and...

BIG BOX!!!

It was our box of curriculum and readers for this year!!

Oh the love! The smell of new untouched books! The pages of lesson plans! A homeschoolers dream! Any teacher's dream for that matter.

I am now complete.

At least until time to make a decision for next year. Then I assure you, you'll hear the same grumbling, mumbling, confessing, repenting, and finally bliss as this year. It's a vicious cycle.

I made some muscadine (did you know spellcheck doesn't recognize muscadine? it is a real word, isn't it?) jelly and juice today. I know! The domesticity!

Oh! More good news!! If you would like some Godly spiritual encouragement you should visit Rebekah's blog and her husband Eric's blog. I just won a book from her blog so, woo! I love books and I love adoption! I should love the book about adoption!

The only thing better than getting a curriculum magazine in the mail is actually getting the curriculum in the mail! It's like Christmas and your birthday all rolled into one!

Oh that sounds lovely...new book smell is nearly as good as new car smell!! If you picked up your new books in your new car - my goodness, I think you might float off to heaven!!!

happy homeschooling to you and your girl! i like your talk about homeschooling decisions... i'm going to need to make a decision in a few years so i like to hear how others have made the homeschooling choice. so, all that to say, keep on ramblin'! muscadine... i've never had it... i'm sure it's good if YOU made it. you domestic diva you.

WOO HOO!!! I am so glad you're homeschooling. I am still working with last years stuff since Essie started mid year. It's exciting!
Can't wait to hear how it's going!
