Varitable Hodge-Podge

This is Druscilla.
I don't have a great nickname for her like I do everyone else...we just call her Dru. Well, we adopted Dru a couple of years ago and she is a great dog - a boxer. So smart and sweet and gentle. She was so easy to train, I guess the genetic curse of stupid animals skipped over me, thankfully. You can check Aunt Mama Hen's blog and Nurse Aunt's Blog for proof.

Anyway...

It wasn't long after we got Dru that our neighbor, "Blackie", began to court her. He seemed to be a shady character at first, but treated her well. I was a little skeptical because of the age difference. Such a May-December romance. We had a serious talk with her, but her mind was made up and he didn't seem to mind that she, umm, can't have puppies. So Dru got married and moved out. Unfortunately, Blackie passed away and left Dru a young widow.
Tuesday we had a very loud thunderstorm and I guess Dru was closer to our house than hers and being that the stupid animal gene skipped over me, she remembered how to open and close the back door, came in and staged a sit-in. She was not leaving and she meant it. Well, she is family.

So on to mi problema - don't you love it when I speak Spanish? This is where I hope that Abbie's Aunt Jill or the elusive Uncle Papa Rooster is reading, so you guessed it - it's a computer problem! I have this bar at the top that says "Get More Add-Ons" and I don't want more, I don't even want what, evidently, I have because my computer hasn't been working very well since that bar came up. Any suggestions?
