The gentle sigh of reminiscing...
Everyone should go to my Aunt Mama Hen's blog and read my Uncle Papa Rooster's tale of ye olden days. A story of the best Granny that I love so much, her mother - Nana, who I can't remember but I have always had this odd feeling of familiarity and love for in my heart nonetheless (the Lord must have called her home when I was so young because undoubtedly she would have loved me best and that would have caused a terrible riff in the family thread), and Aunt Ruby. I also don't remember Aunt Ruby, but I have a pickle recipe written in her very own hand and I know they are the better for it.
Of course the story contains the priceless wit and wisdom that can come only from a man called Uncle Papa Rooster.
I have no doubt that when I get to heaven I will be so preoccupied with seeing Jesus face to face that it will take up the first thousand or so years, but I can't wait to sit and compare biscuits with these incomparable women!

Awww, that is so sweet! I'm still trying to find a relative who likes me best - hasn't happened yet.
