In a pickle...

Well I haven't blown anything up...yet, you know pressure canner and all. There is still time, but I think I am being waayyy careful.

Just a random picture. She asked for some crescent rolls at the last grocery store visit and wanted to document her lovely doughy creations.

Here is my kitchen helper. Isn't it incredible!?! I know you can't see the date, but it says "1957 .30 a copy" (did you know there is no cent sign on the keyboard??) It's Granny's, but...

This is what my kitchen has looked like for the past million years. I swear, we are going to turn into pickles. If these turn out like Aunt Bee's (which I think should be "Bea", but whatever) just too bad, everyone is going to eat them anyway.

I know this makes all my grandparents happy. I can remember sitting on my Mawmaw and Pawpaw's porch shelling peas for what felt like eternity.

I remember shelling peas at my Grandmother's. I'd give anything to shell peas with her one more time!

Ok. fun fact Alabama polytechnic Institute was Auburn before it was Auburn. We need to scan that book before it crumbles. Alabama Poly is where WAPI radio came from. It started as a student station.
