All smells here are a go.

Well, I won't lie. I caved. I caved and used store bought shampoo. I promise I could not help it.

Sunday at our after church fellowship, people kept wondering where the smell of fried food was coming from. It was me. Or to be specific, my greasy hair. The smell of my greasy hair in the hot sun. I was like a walking KFC scented air freshener.

The deodorant is going great, though. I am loving it. I guess at least I can say I didn't smell like horrible body odor. Better fried food than sweaty sock aroma.

And good thing I washed my hair and don't smell like rear, too, because I saw a girl that I graduated high school with today. You know one of those that you haven't seen since high school and praise the Lord (seriously here folks) that He chose to grant me the favor of time.

He gave me time to get my eyebrows done yesterday. Y'all I seriously can't even think of having to face someone I haven't seen in, well, a lot of years with my big ol' bushy eyebrows.

Can you imagine it all over facebook?? -

"I saw her today do you remember her? Well, she looked okay, but her eyebrows! Sheesh. She ought to do something about those things."

Thankfully that won't be happening to me...this week.

Schyler rode home with a friend today after co-op so my dear hubs and I took the opportunity to go eat lunch together at a nicer place that you wouldn't really drag the kids to.

So when we got up to the window to order I realized that Chik-fil-A is kind of expensive. I mean it's totally okay because we all know that eating there is as good as tithing, but man. I know some people who eat out a lot and I just don't see how they do it.

Well, I have really got to go. I am supposed to be getting ready for a big multi- fam yard sale tomorrow. For some reason I think I'll still be up at midnight tonight getting ready.

I was trying to say something clever about your quitting the hair experiment, but it just comes across nasty without the benefit of face to face conversation so I will just say:

QUITTER! :P

Chick-fil-a I've heard is expensive, we don't eat out ....eva. Okay maybe two or three times a year and always out of extreme necessity or the occasional delivery pizza.

Good luck with the garage sale tomorry;)

OK, that seriously cracked me up that your hair smelled like fried chicken! Absolutely love it!

I could never make my own shampoo. One of my favorite things is to walk the shampoo aisle and pick out a new kind. I know, I'm a rebel.

Will you disown me when I tell you my husband sells Avon?

I can't decide if this is endearing or weird. :)

I'm glad you let go of your pride and bought some shampoo. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Great job with the deodorant though. You'll figure out the shampoo thing, I have faith in you.

Chick-Fil-A....worth every penny. But like you said, eating out is too expensive. So I will do it every once in a while when I have one of the kids with me and not everyone. It's a very special treat. Lisa~

Shampoo is a necessity. My hair would have been 100 times greasier, though - it greases in twelve hours flat - even with shampoo!!

I'm proud of you! :)

Eating at Chik-fil-A is as good as tithing. How funny but sort of true. LOL You're a riot!

Hi Mrs. Jennifer!

Thanks for visiting my blog! I'm not angry with you, I was battling a computer virus (with the help of a friend who needs extra money right now, so blessings all around!) but I'm back now. It took me a week to get your comment up, but it's there now.

Sorry the baking soda and vinegar didn't work for you. I love it for my hair. My hair was getting thinner and thinner, and it sort of had the texture of a witch's broom. I have coarse hair, and the five different conditioners and anti frizz preparations weren't helping. It kept breaking and snarling and splitting and coming out at the roots. My hair still doesn't quite look like the old Breck commercials, but it's close! I never thought I'd ever have soft hair!

Boohoo! I truly do wish it worked for you too (I didn't mean to do a rhyme, but I like it, ha!)

Have you tried vinegar instead of fabric softener in the rinse cycle? It really works, honest it does! I love the way my clothes feel...you prolly won't believe me after the hair fiasco... :( sigh...
