Did I mention Netherlands?! I know! Where Peter Pan lives! How great is that! Stats has been sooo good for my geography skills.
Got my Greek on. I have been going to the Greek Festival since I was in high school and it has grown an itsy bit. Still love me some Greek dancing. It's so great. It looks so fun and it must be great exercise. And it's not all provocative like belly dancing or even the gyrating around that people have been calling dancing for the past couple of years. Just fun.
We went to Tannehill State Park today. Great little local gem that we don't use as often as we should. We rode the train, looked around the museum, played in the freezing bubbling springs and rode bikes...a little too much. I'll definitely be buying a cushy seat cover before we go camping next month.
While we were riding bikes we watched everyone else watch the games from their big screens outside their campers. Kids were riding bikes and parents were staring at the screen. Every once in a while huge roars would erupt from all over and I knew the game must have started. It was pretty funny, Schyler thought something bad was going on and got scared until I told her it was all about football.
So I now have 26 followers! That's right. I am approaching thirty. Hey! Just like in real life, you know, my age, approaching thirty. Okay. That's a total lie. Sorry.
Speaking of - Friday was the husbands birthday. We had a fantabulous par-tay.
Schyler directed and starred in a production just for him. After which she sang a special song. It was an old hymn about obedience to Christ even if your friends think your crazy (that part was probably for me, I mean the friends thinking you're crazy part)and the rewards you reap from God. It said something about dying and going to Heaven, so I told him it was to make him feel better about his old age.
He is so old.
Schyler said,"Well it's good to know what's coming." HA! It was great. She was so serious.
But she is right, it IS good to know what's coming!

I'm glad you got to make it to the Greek Festival - it was awesome as usual! You need to buy one of those jingly Greek Dancing Skirts...it will make all your Greek Dreams come true.
Except the nightmare about your nose growing five inches longer...that one is never good.
