Chicken Love

How incredible is this!?! Can you believe someone gave this away!?! I got it at "The Thrift Store". Remember the trip that we stuck the kids in the tiny cart and walked away? I was searching for the most perfectly cheesy, early 90's chicken print and aaaaaa - a light shone down from the heavens and here it is. The Officer was not quite as thrilled...what's his deal? I think I am going to hang it on the chicken house. Or on his side of the bed.





This could be why my child doesn't have many friends. And I know, I am just sitting there capturing it on film, or microchip, whatever, either way, looks like we're cut from the same cloth.

And here are the newest members of our fam. Some friends gave us these guys. They are Colombian so I am brushing up on my Spanish so we can better communicate. The Officer being, well, the officer, thought we may need to have them x-rayed for drugs. Now, now, let's not profile.

And the youngest two new members. You can see the excitement on her face getting to care for two little chickies.
