Wicked Weekend!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!

Can I just tell you, Wicked is the best musical! It was absolutely wonderful! The music was PHENOMENAL, the acting was brilliant, and the story was incredible. It had comedy, drama, friendship, love (but not mushy-gushy love) - everything that is my favorite. I have to say, all thanks to the great and incomparable Aunt Mama Hen. She allowed Favorite Girl to stay there with her Favorite Cousin so I could go with my BFF. What a blessing!

I haven't read the book and I probably won't because I have heard a lot about it, but others said it was NOTHING like the book. We decided it wasn't actually based on the book. One person thought the author had a good idea and thought he could do it better so he wrote the screenplay for the musical and called it Wicked to appease the author of the book and not be called a plagariser.

Okay, so I also discovered saline wash for the nose. Great discovery. Wonder who had the first notion to shoot salt water up their nose? Do you think some idiot frat boys dared one another to shoot the salt water up their nose and then they found out how effective it was? I mean who just says, "hey! shooting salt water up my nose sounds like it would feel good!"? Well, I'll tell ya...it doesn't feel good at all, but it sure does help my allergy problems. Oh excuse me, it helps if you have "the sinus".

So what a great weekend! I saw Wicked annd I started shooting salt water up my nose!

Hey Jennifer! Glad you had fun at the musical!
Alot of people with CF do the sinus rinses. I bought it for Sawyer but never used it. He thankfully hasn't had much of the sinus issues that sometimes come with CF. Glad it worked for you!

Hey kiddo - add about 1/4 tsp of baking soda to that salt water (unless you're using the pre-packaged or pre-prepared stuff). It'll buffer it a little and make it less caustic to your tender tissues. I agree - it IS a wonderful thing for those of us with Clark allergies.
