So my favorite girl is officially the big five now. I am officially devastated. I can remember her birth like it was yesterday. I am finally over all the trauma, though, so now it is a memory to share instead of reliving all the horrible feelings.
So anyway...we went to Tennessee for the weekend. I know what you are thinking, oooh she got to go see The Rockettes, walk through all the beautiful lights, go ice skating, all the fun holiday activities. Well, you are wrong. Not my family. We went to a...water park. I am NOT kidding. It was an indoor waterpark and they had a ginormous hot tub, so I was on board for that. And that was pretty much what I did the whole time.
We did take the tram to Ober Gatlinburg and go ice skating which lasted all of about 15 minutes. Or how ever long it took us to make one complete rotation around the rink while holding to the rail.
I was able to work on my Christmas cards in the car on the way up, so they should arrive in your box today or the day after Christmas...did you really expect them any earlier? I know you are dying of curiosity and absolutely haven't been able to sleep waiting to see if I went with the majority vote on the picture for the cards. Well, I'll go ahead and and let the cat out...I chose none of the options I gave you! At the last minute I found one I liked better and went with that. Surprise, surprise. Babe says it's the story of his life.
So I know I have rattled on about absolutely NOTHING! But I felt as though I had to check in with my loyal subjects, all 5 of you. I know I have some stories in here, but they won't come out right now. Probably too deep for you. You couldn't have handled it. Now go and thank God for sending His only Son so that you and I could have the chance to see Him in Heaven. I can't imagine sacrificing my favorite girl, praise Him I don't have to! I can just enjoy the Goodness and Love that is Christ! Happiness is brilliant!
