Well, we enjoyed Thanksgiving. Especially a wonderful production put on by our in house thespian group. Abbie wrote and directed a play about Thanksgiving that was wonderful. I'm thinking of counting it as a school day since it was historical and surely things like shriveled up pilgrims and aliens count.
But anyhoo...back to the ol' routine.
As in a bunch of laundry. About thirty minutes after I gave a basket full of clean clothes for a certain someone to put away they had been put on, taken off, and left wadded in the floor.
We did put up our tree yesterday. Schyler had been begging for a month and now that it is officially after Thanksgiving, I gave in. Now it just looks like Christmas puked all over my already junky house.
I do enjoy all those Southern Living and Better Homes spreads with all the beauty, and I may have that some day and that will be fine. But for now I love that all of my ornaments are perfectly placed in the front and center of my tree. I'll just enjoy looking at the pictures of all of your beautiful decor!

Hey, Girl... I wanted to tell you about the tree farm. It's called Pine Hill Tree Farms, and it's officially located in Tarrant, but it is really only two or three miles from our house in Gardendale. It's easy to find. I'll get the phone number for you today if you're still interested in going "just for fun." It's a great place.
I'm with you. One of these days, I'll have a Southern Living Christmas, but not yet. Something to look forward to.
Merry Christmas!
We had show put on here too...my girls did a whole "sister" theme. It's such a delight to see them working together. I'm glad your tree is up...us too. Now there's just tweaking to do. Lisa~
