Tons of appropriateness

Man, it is hot. Al Gore must be sitting back in his leather chair with a glass of whiskey twirling his mustache with a big ol' evil grin.

You know, who invented AC? I mean shouldn't we like have a day or something for that person? I mean don't Google (or Swag) it and then tell me, I'm trying to make a very important point here. No one knows who this poor person is. Maybe it just proves that they were doing it for God's glory and not their own. I'm pretty sure that God is glorified through AC. I mean I know it's a lot easier to glorify him when I am in AC.

I mean, I am totally not one to complain about the weather. For some reason I get very convicted if I do and I get uncomfortable when others do.

Weird.

Have I ever mentioned my height on here? Yes? Oh.

Well, I tried on a one piece swimsuit at Target yesterday. I thought this could be the one, it seemed so long. Always with my imagination.

Schyler laughed like a hyena and yelled, yes yelled, "You can see your booooobs!".

Yes, thank you. Note that it looked fine as long as I tied it around my waist.

So I walked out with new bottoms to match my existing tank. No worries.

We also went to "the thrift store" (remember, they're all "the". like the headache, the sinus, the wal-marks, etc., etc.) and bought a ton of books.

I'm reading "I Should Forgive, But..." and Brandon is reading (I hope) "Wild at Heart"(by John Eldredge). Naaaa, we don't have issues. No issues in this house. Now move along please.

Schyler and I took a little bike ride yesterday. Being too lazy to change out of the skirts we were wearing. Man I do feel for those Church of God-ers. I mean totally no offense if you are one. I'm just sayin'.

I remember I went to high school with a girl who was a church of God-er. Honey, she cussed like a sailor. She said things I didn't even know existed. And was mean as a snake. But as long as she wore her skirt, she was in the good.

So I guess I'll leave it at that. Surely I have managed to offend a wide variety of beliefs and lifestyles by now. Tomorrow I'll take on how I just read about Deborah and Barak in the Bible. And how the honor was taken away from Barak because Barak was too sissified to go to battle on his own so a woman led the way for him. And how Deb told Barak all of that before hand and he was totally okay with it (don't take my word for it - Judges 4).

How appropriate.

*wink & smirk* to all my CC (conservative Christian) friends that get it...and to all my non-CC's that get it and can take it. And if you get it but can't take it you should probably be reading a blog on NBC or CBS or something. So go there now.
