Well, it hit. I've heard about it, but just couldn't understand it until it happened in my own home. You know God can use anything to the good for those that love Him, so I am just waiting on an opportunity to share my testimony in order to help others.
Oh it wasn't me, personally. Come on. What kind of person do you think I am? Sheesh.
It was my husband.
But don't worry. He gave me permission to talk about it (I think).
Anyhoo..."Q-Fat" as we like to call it. You know, its always good to make a disease sound hip and not like something we should try to avoid.
Anyhoo...Coupon Fatigue struck. And it struck hard. And girls, can I just say, it's fun for everyone. It is so easy to get sucked in.
Don't look at the price!
Just throw it in the cart!
Whooooooo wants cereal - WITH REAL NUTS IN IT?!?!?
Oh we are having bacon tomorrow for breakfast. And the thick cut kind too. It ain't been on sale in, well, ever!
I mean can't you see how fun and wonderful those statements are??
Before you know it your cart is overflowing and the bottom of your receipt that says "you saved ___" has a single digit number.
Shameful. Just shameful.
But we all know - sin is fun for a moment, but it never lasts. It turns it's back on you and brings condemnation and guilt before the grease cools in the skillet.
Mmmm mmmm mmmm.
We're all better now though. Back on the Q wagon. Clipping and spending responsibly. Repentant hearts receiving the immeasurable grace of Jesus.
In other good news...
The taste of butt is finally gone from my mouth, however, it is permanently burned into my brain.
Everyone here is well now, much to Schyler's dismay. She said being sick is awesome because I do everything for her (true). Back to work for her.
She tried faking a fever by holding a hot washcloth on her head and then running to me really fast before it got cool again. I never realized how dumb we think our parents are.

I'll pray for you. Try to find a 12 step program.
