Those "huge bananas" are plantains and I like them very much fried in a tiny bit of olive oil. You should try it. They are on sale at the Pub (Publix).
Here is the Officer swinging from a Muscadine vine. Just for fun. It was one of the highlights of our day.
Okay, BLISTERS!!! Can you see them?! They are plain as day right there!! Evidently raking your entire yard with no gloves will give you blisters. I'm pretty sure those were not featured in this month's Vogue.
Anyway, it's a little piece of creation that God has allowed me to take care of, so I'll do it happily - please remind me that I said that this summer.
Here is my Favorite Girl hanging out in the tree while we work. She got a little mad because we made her get down by herself and she wanted help. It was just nice to have her coralled like that and not have to worry about watching her.

Here is a shot for any of you doubting that I can complete my farmly duties. I was standing on the tractor MacGyver-ing a rope to a Muscadine vine that has grown up in a tree. We got it down so we'll see if we can do any good with it.

Mark and I used to swing over the creek on muscadine vines. You had to watch your landing though - water moccasins were everywhere.
I miss working in the yard.
