Love is in the Air!

WooHoo!! Are you ready for a day of luuuuuuuvvvv?! Yeah baby!

February 14th has a lot of different significance for us! Five years ago we brought home our very favorite girl after her long stay in NICU. Not too long, though, could have been a lot worse.

(Here's my tiny little baby.)

And that was on our seventh anniversary! So, yes, do the math...we are celebrating our 12th anniversary! I know - UNbelievable.
Proof that there is a merciful God in heaven and He alone is able to save us from ourselves! There is no reason we should not have killed each other, much less be together, except that God Himself has willed it! And praise Him for that! Our marriage is sweeter today! If you are going through a hard season, hold on. The seasons of hardship make the good times that much better! And the only way to experience that is to stay together. I mean unless you are in an abusive relationship then you should run - there's my disclaimer.

So I don't know what we will do this year. Last year we bought shrimp, sushi, stuffed crab, lobster tail, really good salad stuff, cooked it and had a really fun picnic in the living room and watched a movie - all three of us! This year The Officer and I, I think, may do something aloooone. Wooooo.

Love to all!!

Happy Anniversary to you both! I still have the little wrap for my preemie that you have in the photo.

My preemie was born 13 years ago...10 weeks early.

Seems Miss Jennifer we have more in common than our names. My husband was an officer too(civilian and military) and we both witnessed a miracle of God with our daughters!

What a special day....little Schlyer was so tiny...I remember her looking just like that! It's amazing to see her now...how wonderful she has done the last 5 years!
So you and hubby are doing something aloneeeee....I can just hear you saying that. Well have fun... hubby and I are doing something aloneeee too! I'm so excited to get away by ourselves for a little while. Daniel is not quite as excited as he is our designated babysitter...he deserves it though...don't you think?
