Emergency!!

We've had yet another new birth. Chicky number two is here, born to who we like to call Mean Mama. Because she pecks us all the time.

Then we called her Bad Mama because she wouldn't take care of her chicky.

Well, turns out she isn't Bad Mama after all, she's just an animal mama. The chicky has a bad leg deformity. We're taking care of her, but I think we'll be having a chicky funeral today. RIP.

It perked up when we started taking care of it (boy?girl?we don't know), but this morning is not looking too good.

So I'm off to make funeral arrangements.

And to cook breakfast. Scrambled eggs it is!
