I have completely entered the land of geek - I know I was dwelling there before, but I am now VP.

Why?

I am so amazed at how much money one can save that I kept a spreadsheet through January tracking my expenses.

Being that you do not care, I will share my geeky excitement with you anyway and give you my totals:

Total spent: $197
Total saved: $576 so that means...
Total Value: $773 which is...
Savings of: 75%
And I received 2 of 3 $5 rebates. I'm not sure how that figures in.

Woo!!

That spending is a little steep for me, but it included a little Christmas money and gift cards that I bought some jeans and yoga pants with.

Farrah at See Mom Save taught me this stuff. I am FOREVER indebted to her. We go to church with her and she teaches Schyler in her favorite co-op class! I know! How much more can I posssibly owe this mad woman!?!

Farrah's way of thinking is that what we save, we give. And when we are blessed enough to get an abundance of an item, we give an abundance of the item. Such a godly woman! I hope I can be like her when I grow up.

I hope you all know that I truly thank Jesus for His goodness. I do believe that all good things are gifts from God. Especially coupons and sales.
